Parker Gravitt is entering his second year (2023-2024) as a Student Assistant for the Men's Basketball program, working as the Head Coach of the Development team.

In his first season with the Tigers (2022-2023), Parker Gravitt was instrumental in assisting the Varsity and Developmental teams to new heights. On the varsity side, Gravitt assisted in practices, keeping tabs on live stats during games, and created scouting videos as well as working individually with players of all positions. Champion would finish with the best winning percentage in school history, its 1st ever #1 Ranking, and its 1st ever National Tournament invite. With the developmental team, Gravitt assisted for most of the season with the plan he would take over the next year. Developing practice plans, scouting reports, and coaching the last game, Parker showed tremendous growth and leadership in a short amount of time. Gravitt also played a large role in recruitment of the Development roster.

Coach Gravitt is no stranger to Champion Christian College. After graduating from Redwater High School, Parker was recruited to Champion Christian College as a member of the men's basketball team. In his first year at Champion, Parker competed and was a volunteer coach at Gospel Light Christian School. Moving into his sophomore year, Coach Gravitt decided to move into coaching primarily, going full time at Gospel Light as assistant coach for 2 seasons, all while taking classes at Champion.

The 2022 season was one of the most successful years in recent history for Gospel Light, where coach Gravitt helped lead the team to a 26-4 record and a State Championship appearance.
