Kassio Fernandes Magalhães is a former professional soccer player and currently a soccer coach. Originally from Brazil, he built a solid international career as an athlete between 2006 and 2020, playing for clubs in Brazil, Cyprus, China, Israel, and Portugal.

During his playing career, he distinguished himself as a central defender, recognized for his defensive consistency, leadership, and high level of competitiveness. In Israel, he experienced one of the most significant periods of his career, winning the Israeli Cup in the 2013/2014 season, the Israeli Super Cup in the 2015/2016 season, and the Toto Cup in the 2015/2016 season.

In addition to collective titles, Kassio received important individual recognitions, being elected by sports journalists as the best central defender in the Israeli league in the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons, consolidating himself as a prominent figure in that position in the country.

After ending his professional career due to an injury, he began his journey as a coach. In 2023, he began his coaching training with UEFA Diploma and worked as an assistant coach at Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, helping the club return to playing in the elite of Israeli soccer, winning the second division championship in 2023/2024

Subsequently, he took over as head coach of Vila Nova FC, in the Under-17 category, working directly on the technical, tactical, and human development of young athletes. Later, in the United States, he joined the Nona Soccer Academy, working as a coach for the Under-16 and Under-17 categories in MLS Next, one of the country's leading athlete development platforms.

Currently, Kassio continues his mission in soccer as a coach, with a modern vision of the game and a strong commitment to technical, tactical, and human development.
