Brendan Hatfield is entering second season (2021-2022) as an assistant coach with the Champion Christian College Tigers.

In his first year with Champion, the Tigers finished 10-4 against NCCAA DII opponents, started a school best 7-0 against NCCAA DII, and were ranked as high as 3rd nationally during the year. 

Hatfield comes to Champion after spending one year with Ecclesia College Royals, where he was in charge of guard development, guard recruitment, scouting and film breakdown, and assisted with practice planning. 

In the 2020-2021 season with Ecclesia, Coach Hatfield helped the Royals reach their highest winning percentage in 4 seasons, as well as their best defensive rating in 4 years.

Coach Hatfield graduated from Mid America Christian College in 2020, and played college basketball for 3 years. He is a member of Memorial Baptist Church, where he has worked and volunteered in various roles throughout high school and college.
