As this young season gets underway let's recap some things that our young tigers have accomplished. The season tipped off at home against NAIA D1 Bacone College, after a slow start our young Tigers came out with a 25 point victory. The Tigers entered their next home game, against Baptist Bible College, clicking on all cylinders. Fueled by a deep bench, these young tigers routed the Patriots 104-60.

The Tigers then went a stretch of six exhibition games aganist NCAA D1 and D2 programs out of seven. Playing three D1 schools: Abilene Christian, Lamar and Arkansas Pine-Bluff. With both Abilene Christian and Lamar turning into lopsided defeats. Our young Tigers looked like a completely different team against UAPB, going into half time with the score tied at 33. After halftime, Pine-Bluff started quickly with a 18-0 run and stretching it out to a 21 point lead with 12:00 left on the clock, but the tigers found a way to get back into the game by forcing turnovers and getting to the free throw line. with :57 seconds left the lead was down to 5, but were unable to get get any closer. UAPB was able to finish off the game at the Free Throw line, to stretch it out to a 8 point game at the final buzzer.

The Tigers enter Thanksgiving break ranked for the first time in school history, coming it at #6 in the country. The Tigers return to action December 3rd on the road at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Before returning home for our conference opener December 5th against Arlington Baptist at home.
