For the second consecutive week, the Tigers come in at #6 in the country. After gutting out a road win, over NAIA D1 Bacone College in Muskogee, OK, 107-100 on the back of D'Andre Butler's 27 points on 7-11 shooting. The Tigers returned home for the Southwest Region opener against Arlington Baptist, who beat them three times last year including the ACCA National Championship game. With virtually a whole new team, except 3 returning players and 1 returning redshirt, this Coach Epps led Champion team was able to start region play 1-0 with a 92-78 win again led by D'andre Butler who led all scorers with 20 points. 

The Tigers will play three exhibition games, against NCAA D1 and D2 opponents before they get into the bulk of Region play after the new year.
