#4 Tigers Avenge Road Loss

The #4 ranked Tigers returned to the floor for the first time since falling to the MUW Owls 85-74 last Thursday in Columbus, MS. Senior Stefan Tellis opened the scoring with three pointer from the top of the key. The Owls responded with 4 quick points taking their first lead, the Tigers were able to take the lead for good at the 16:54 mark of the first half. 

Champion shot (30/68 44%) from the floor, (9/27 33%) from three and (19/29 65%) from the free throw line. D'Andre Butler, led a balanced attack with 5 players in double digits, with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists on (7/12) shooting. Kentrell Jacobs finished with his first career double-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and a monster tip dunk. Cameron Dismuke and Stefan Tellis chipped in 13 and 12 points respectively. Ariyon Williams rounded out the double figure scoring with 10 points. 

The Tigers return to Southwest Region action Thursday night in Keene, TX as they take on Southwest Adventist.
