The inaugural season for the Lady Tigers started with a bang, opening the season with the first win in school history. Defeating Crowley's Ridge 85-74 at home, behind Destiny Gonzalez's 41 point, 15 rebound and 5 block performance. 

The Lady Tigers then hit the road to take on NAIA D1 Texas A&M Texarkana. The lady Eagles were able to stretch out their 8 point lead in the last 4 minutes of the game after the games leading scorer, Destiny Gonzalez 26 points 9 rebounds, fouled out. 

After a 2 exhibition game road trip where they played NAIA D1 Lyon College, and NCAA D2 Texas Women's University. The Lady Tigers returned home for a rematch against TAMUT. After a quick start the Tigers were up 19-10 after the first quarter, but the Eagles got hot from the 3 point line to pull out the 62-53 victory on the road.

The Lady Tiger return to action after Thanksgiving break when they take on Arlington Baptist December 5th at home to open up conference play.
