Gonzalez Wins National Honors for Second Time

Junior Forward Destiny Gonzalez was named the NCCAA DII Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time on Monday 2/2/20. Gonzalez averaged 17.5 points and 15.5 rebounds per game last week. Leading the Lady Tigers to a 1-1 record for the week, winning on the road at SAU Tech, before falling to UA Cossatot at home Saturday afternoon. 

The Lady Tigers return to action Friday night in Dallas, as they look to avenge a 1 point loss to then 5th ranked Dallas Christian Lady Crusaders in early January. Dallas has sine dropped to 9th in the national polls, as the DeAnthony Ellison lead Lady Tigers have risen to #6 in the nation.  Tip-off is at 5:30, with the men's game at 7:30.
