The Champion Lady Tigers win region opener, 85-43, against the Manhattan Christina College, Lady Thunder on Wednesday night.

The Lady Tigers forced 46 turnovers, against the 5 man Lady Thunder. Destiny Gonzalez led Champion with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Harria Mendoza and Sckiya Banister added 12 points each. Justys Irish-Holmes chipped in 10 points, while Tamaria Manning added 13 points, 8 assists and 9 rebounds. Roni Harris had a game high 17 for Manhattan. 

The Lady Tigers are back in action Friday night at Kansas Christian College in Overland Park, Kansas.
