CCC Beats ABC

Hot Springs, Ark.

After beating DCC the night before, the Champion Christian College women's basketball team went 5-0 over the weekend.
 
The Lady Tigers took on NAIA Arkansas Baptist College. The Lady Tigers led the first-quarter 18-10. With a 24-point second-quarter, the Tigers only gave up 4 points.  At halftime, the Tigers led 42-14. With the domination Champion gave, ABC did not give up. The third-quarter Tigers outlasted 21-18 and the fourth-quarter 18-13. Arkansas Baptist fought hard, but it was not enough. The Lady Tigers kept a comfortable lead and finished the game 81-45.
 
The Lady Tigers shot 41 percent from the floor, shooting 31-for-74 and were 26 percent from three-point range. CCC also outrebounded DCC 46-37.
 
Arkansas Baptist struggled shooting 15.8 percent from the three and were 19-for-53 in the field. 
 
Aaliyiah Clark was the leader in points with16 on 6-for-10 shooting, 2-of-4 from three with 6 assists. Alysia Pickett was second in scoring with 13 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. T'Kira Fuller chimed in with 11 points and game high, 9 rebounds.
